Der Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed into law a measure that disallows eggs not produced by the impossible standards of recently passed Proposition 2 to be imported into California-when Prop 2 goes fully into effect in 2015.

This means that all eggs will be generally too expensive for most people to eat regularly. This will limit the protein in the diet of all Californians. Far less future olympians will come from California, due to their bodies being unable to build the muscle to compete. This is a great equal opportunity measure for other, more sane states.

As for the regular population, we will see some reversion to peanut consumption, and this may well benefit Jimmy Carter's farming operation in Georgia. Interstate commerce in peanuts may thrive.

Any Californians who do compete in the Olympics may come from the Hispanic population (native,documented immigrants or otherwise) because they quite often have their own chickens for both eggs and meat.

The next assault on animal agriculture will be against dairy farming, and that has begun already. Several articles are circulationg about the inhumane way dairy cattle are treated, plying the heartstrings of an ignorant urban population several generations removed from the farms their families originated from.

Of course, government is the real problem, and the desire for absolute safety by the population is the cause. Government , in it's quest for power over people has pimped itself to people, uneducated by design, to seek safety, rather than progress. In so doing, innumerable laws supposedly for the benefit of urban populations, have been enacted making it unfeasable for small farmers to keep producing foodstuffs for people. Only the largest of farm organizations can afford the equioment and impossible standards (not totally realistic) demanded by government. Still, the farmers have been able to keep food affordable, so far.

Now, certain religions have foisted their beliefs that animals are equal to humans and must be accorded human standards in the food production cycle. These standards are designed to eliminate animal agriculture entirely.

But beware! It does not end there. In Switzerland, a law regarding the treatment of plant life was passed, demanding that consideration be given plants in situations of cutting, passing over, and going through plant life. Soon, it will be illegal to end any kind of life to further the lives of human beings.

And , on another subject, have you seen the price of dog food go up? It has nearly doubled in the last few years. That is because, in our fury to become independent of foreign oil we introduced  a program to provide ethanol (alchohol) as a sunstitute. In so doing we subsidized the use of food grains for fermentation. This caused many food grains to be diverted to the ethanol program. For the very first time, this nation, breadbasket to the world, had to import wheat for human consumption. All this when we have a huge excess of sugar producing crops, cane and beets, that can produce ethanol at half the cost of grains.

One of the goals of these religions is to reduce the human population of Earth to about 1 Billion. And they would readily sacrifice you and your dogs to do it. They are called animal rights activists.
