Complete Video Series Available Online from the 2009 National Parent Club Canine Health Conference We have come so far in research on canine health issues. Something for Everybody! Got that special dog with a special talent? Well, now you can
compete your mixed breed dog in performance events through the American
Kennel Club! Events like agility, rally and obedience are now open to all
dogs. The AKC is offering some pretty attractive packages as well.
These include lifetime microchip enrollment, healthcare plan, and subscription
to AKC Family Dog magazine.
Rattlesnake Avoidance! Good training for your dog if you live near canyons or other semi-populated areas! Rattlesnake bites are on the increase and you need to be careful when you and your four footed companion go for walks - especially in undeveloped or underveloped areas. Increasingly severe rattlesnake bites in California may be occurring simply because there are more southern Pacific rattlesnakes now than there were in the recent past.
